Experience Shooting Solutions (ES2) Show Off The Whitney Wolverine Semi-Automatic .22LR Pistol And Compares Its Design To The Beretta U22 Neos "Who Copied Who"

The Whitney Wolverine was an advanced, "space -aged", light-weight aluminum, self feeding, .22LR caliber pistol created in 1956. It had a 10 round magazine,
and weighed only 1.3 lbs.

The Wolverine was engineered by Mr. Robert Hillbery, who learned about aluminum casting during World War Two while working with aircraft guns and later became a research engineer for High Standard Manufacturing Company

Only 13,371 of these .22LR self feeding pistols were manufactured in its short period of production between 1956 and 1958

Show above is the modern day Beretta U22 Neos that show a strong resemblance to the Whitney Wolverine of  55 years ago. Makes one wonder was Beretta influenced by the Wolverine design

Miami, Florida 30th April 2013: The Wolverine was engineered by Robert Hillberg, who learned about aluminum casting during WWII while working with aircraft guns and later became research engineer for High Standard Manufacturing Company. Only 13,371 of these .22 self feeding pistols were made in its short period of production between 1956 and 1958. There were approximately 500 nickel plated according to company records, the rest finished in varying shades of anodized blue, The plastic grips came in either a black, dark brown or white, the white grips are found mostly on the nickel plated models. The frame being investment cast by Alcoa was a new idea for the gun industry at the time, now it is widely used by almost every major gun manufacturer today.
ts name "Wolverine" was named after Mr. Hillberg's favorite football team, the University of Michigan Wolverines. A victim of extremely poor marketing in the beginning, financial problems and then being under priced by $2.00 by both Ruger and Colt with their new semi-automatics .22, the company was doomed.
The original retail price was $39.95 blue and $44.95 nickel plated.

Experience Shooting Solutions (ES2) Shows Off An Urban Conceal Carry Rig That Is Within Compliance Of Florida State F.S.790.01 & F.S.790.06 Conceal Carry Regulations

Shown is the "Sneaky Pete" conceal carry holster made for a series of compact guns

This "Sneaky Pete" conceal carry holster was custom ordered so as to facilitate the conceal holstering of a Ruger .380 LCP with a Crimson Trace laser unit

Shown is the custom fit holstering of the Ruger .380 LCP within the "Sneaky Pete" conceal carry holster

Shown attached and mounted onto a belt in every day carry mode in compliance with Florida State Conceal Carry regulations as dictated

As an improvisation of Experience Shooting Solutions (ES2) so as to blend into the day to day wear within and urban environment, (ES2) has found out that by utilizing a common cell phone carrying case one could house two Ruger .380 LCP magazine in a prefect and discreet fit and wear

Shown are the two Ruger .380 LCP magazines as stowed within the cell phone carrying case to also be worn at the ready on your belt / hip

To the public eye this would appear to be an common cell phone carrying case and would not appear as a pouch carrying two spare .380 magazines

What Experience Shooting Solutions (ES2) has coined as the "Urban Conceal Carrying Rig" for everyday wear in any clothing situation

Miami, Florida 24th April 2013: Shown above in the series of photograph is what Experience Shooting Solutions (ES2) is calling an "Urban Rig" for carrying conceal within the State of Florida.
Made by Sneaky Pete, the above holster which is made for a series of popular, compact guns such as Ruger, Kel-Tech, and smaller Glocks such as the Glock 27 provides the ability to conceal carry without the worry of "what to wear" when opting to carry conceal in accordance with Florida State Regulations F.S. 790.01 and 790.06. The Sneaky Pete conceal carry holster is both utilitarian and stylish and provides a Florida conceal carry, licensed individual to have their firearm by the side and at ready to be drawn should the need arise by merely flipping up the magnetically attached and close flip up cover.
One so called "field modification" in which (ES2) came up with especially for the Ruger .380 LCP magazine sis carrying them within a common cell phone belt carrying case as shown in the above photographs.
The combination of utilizing a common day, common sight items on ones person such as a belt attached, cell phone carrying case and the Sneak Pete conceal carry holster, allows a licensed, conceal carry gun owner in Florida to have the their firearm and extra ammunition with them in common sight and easy reach, thus making it an ideal urban conceal carry rig.
