Another view of Henry repeating rifles former, Brooklyn manufacturing site. Henry Rifles was New York City last gun manufacture. In 2012 the Company relocated to Bayonne, New Jersey only to have its operation effected by the Hurricane Sandy due to their proximity to the waters of New York Harbor
Sometime in 2012, the company moved from its original site in Brooklyn, New York to Bayonne, New Jersey and with it ending New York City rich gun history as the last city gun manufacture. It should be noted that the former factory site shown above is located about 2.0 miles from the site that was the U.S. Army first official battle against the British on August 27th 1776 known as the "Battle of Brooklyn / Battle of Long Island".
